In math students reviewed and practiced the concepts of multiplication arrays, factors, factor pairs, and products. Next week students will practice using and identifying square, prime and composite numbers. They will then learn and practice finding all the unique prime factors of a given number.
Resources introduced this week that will be used in the classroom and are available at home are:

In science students discussed what it means to be a scientist and were introduced to the scientific process. Next week students will be conducting an investigation to practice the scientific method and the use of investigative tools. At the end of next week students will begin their first unit of study: Living Organisms.
