We are very excited to begin two new units in Humanities. In Reader's Workshop, students will learn how to write reflectively about what they are reading. Additionally, students will analyze their chosen and assigned texts for theme and author's craft. They will be involved in books clubs and spend time learning how to discuss what they are reading. In Writer's Workshop, students will learn how to take a stance on an issue by researching both sides, formulate opinions, and use evidence to support their thinking.
