The unit 3 math test will be returned to students this week. Please look over your child's profile sheet and review areas marked with P. These are skills and concepts requiring further practice. This week we will continue exploring data as we investigate the 5 BRICS countries; Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. Students will analyze data from the World Bank website and create graphs and charts to show the trends and patterns they have discovered.
We will also begin reviewing division concepts as we prepare to begin the study of division in unit 4.
Science
Students will complete their study of cells this week as they create models of plant and animal cells and learn about the jobs of specialized cells such as the nerve cell, muscle cell, and blood cells.
