Dona Dani:
Students did a good job recording about members of their families. This week, we will talk about other information they can use in order to complement the introduction about themselves.
Students in Dona Nati’s class are ending their first short story,which has been revised and edited by students themselves. They will continue the language study with verb agreement and, on Friday, they will report their independent book reading for this 15-day period, in their digital portfolios.

Projeto Lê Comigo
LêComigo is a community project which aims at taking children's books to needy Brazilian schools, in order to foster the pleasure of sharing and donating books that have not been used. (https://www.facebook.com/lecomigo?ref=nf)
This year, 5th grade students have been invited to be part of this beautiful project by getting to know the students from Instituto Troncoso and from Sapiara Municipal school, in the south of Bahia.
During our classes, we will dedicate time to write to the students who will receive last year's book donations. The 5th graders will write letters, talking about their favorite books and the pleasure they get from reading.
We will soon share with you the results of this brilliant exchange work.
