Humanities Update
We are coming to the end of our Narrative unit! This week, students learned how to use dialogue effectively, elaborate on important parts of their stories, and craft powerful endings. As a part of the editing process, students learned how to use commas to set off introductory parts of sentences.
On Friday, students will celebrate their hard work by sharing their writing with their classmates. Taking time to reflect is an important factor in establishing a growth-mindset. Therefore, students will spend some time reflecting on the writing process and thinking about how they might improve their writing in future texts.
