February/March, 2015 news Dear Parents                                                                                            We are very excited about the Carroção trip - Dona Nati will be there to assist students in case there is a need for Portuguese/English help.   We have started our poetry unit by building on students’ previous knowledge on the various poems formats and studying the various Brazilian authors. By enhancing students’ language skills and promoting a vehicle for creativity in use of digital tools, we hope to provide students valuable contact with the Brazilian culture as well.    Students are taking books from our class library and our book report work on Fridays is back! Please remind your son or daughter to bring back their Portuguese books every Friday.        Portuguese After School support: Thursdays from 3:15 to 4pm        Dona Dani - room H15                          Dona Nati - room E9A
