Saving Water

"São Paulo is facing a big drought.  This is the worst drought in 80 years in the biggest city of South America."  -Lucas A.

What can we do?  You have been researching the problem and now it's time to think about solutions.  Use the first two sites listed below to find out how water is being used and what we can do to save it.
While exploring, take notes in your note-catcher-- especially answering questions 6 and 9.

Water Sense  (Site for kids)
Water Conservation (video)  Pause the video as you watch it to write down main ideas.  (Music is a bit off, but the information is great!)

Optional:

  7. 97% is salt water, 2% is ice, but you don't want to melt that. and 0.99% is dirty water, so only 1%is left for our humans to drink and live.
